The 2020 event will be the 20th Edition of the Classic British Welcome and so the theme will celebrate the 13 marques that have previously featured – an homage in fact.
The announcement was made at the Soirée des Partenaires on Friday, 31st January. CBW president, Stéphane Auvrignon, welcomed all those present, including the sponsors, partners and members of the Classic British Welcome volunteers. The evening was compared by Bruno Vandestick and the special guest was Vincent Beaumesnil, the ACO sporting director. On display was an AC Cobra Daytona provided by ATS Le Mans, and a 1926 Bugatti Type 35B.
And finally, it was confirmed that our VIP guest on the 12th June will be Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, the famous sporting director for Audi which, under whose direction, won Le Mans 13 times!
The president, Stephane Auvrignon, will welcome all the sponsors/partners of the event and our VIP guest is Vincent Beaumesnil, the Sporting Director at the ACO.
Joseph of Joey & the Heizer Monkeys is singing and will finish the evening with the Le Mans song “100K miles to Le Mans”
The evening will be hosted by Bruno Vandestick, the voice of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
